BIMSE team attends the buildingSMART International Standards Summit in Beijing 2019

On October 28-31, 2019, China, hosted by China Construction Technology Group, jointly with China Communications Construction Group and Railway BIM Alliance, and co-organized by a global authority, buildingSMART International (bSI), The International Standards Summit was held at the Beijing National Convention Center.

As the first technology summit held by buildingSMART in China, the buildingSMART International Standards Summit and China Construction Digital Conference welcome well-known international partners : Arup (Arup), GS1 (International Article Numbering Association), IBM, Swedish Transport Agency, Amsterdam International Airport, Singapore Land Management Bureau, Helsinki Smart City and other world-renowned institutions and enterprises to join the summit for collaborations.


Chinese well-known BIM experts from China Construction Digital, China Communications, and the Railway BIM Alliance, and veterans of the international BIM industry, have launched hot issues such as industry-level data platforms, international work on engineering construction standardization, and how IFC standards can change the face of the construction industry Analysis and discussion, talk about "openBIM from the perspective of engineering construction". Representatives from institutions such as Kashima Construction Corporation of Japan, Amsterdam International Airport and other companies shared their BIM project experience.

In addition, at the awarding ceremony of the buildingSMART International held on the evening of October 28, the IFC PW international standard project developed by China Communications Construction Group (CCCC) in collaboration with Cardiff University was awarded the Building Smart project delivery award.
