A key goal of the project is to develop and document a new extension to the BuildingSMART IFC standard to encompass the requirements of the Ports & Waterways domain.
This involves the definition of a Ports & Waterways conceptual model and then a draft IFC extension encoded in the Unified Modelling language and EXPRESS.
